Step 13: Love and Taxi Queues: The other chapter 1

Here's the draft of chapter 1 of Love and Taxi Queues, the second of the three novels I'm working on.

At the moment I've made it to about chapter 3-4.

It technically qualifies as science-fiction.

The novel is completely different from the fantasy one, in tone, content, and genre, and begins with:

Brendan Carmichael did not know that he was a clone of a dead man, despite remembering, quite precisely, that he had been hit by a Mercedes E-Class going at what he guesstimated to be about eighty kilometers per hour. But he did feel really hungry. And this was by design.
